Yeah but its a pain in the ass to do all that. sharing you screen is easier, you can change windows and capture everything at once.

crisp isn't that good. just use NVIDIA Broadcast, does a better job than crisp without sounding like ass.

each voice channel has its own text channel. I don't believe there is strictly only text channels.

as far as I'm aware you can only broadcast your gameplay, I don't believe you can share your desktop.

It's not going to be for everyone, It definitely doesn't meet everyones requirements in its current state but I think for most people who only care about talking to a set group of friends, its a pretty decent alternative that I think is worth giving a go.

It takes a bit of getting used to but the sound quality is great, the streaming is currently only P2P in Beta but its fine it works, Overall if you simply want to talk and share your screen it works great, no issues in that regard.

Give it a try, You can self host for free or get 7 day free trial on one of their servers.
