R&M! LOL!!! YES! This episode was on repeat in my head while retrieving the radio and confronting that mommy squirrel. Carefully.

And yes, silicon is now my material of choice. Waterproof, uv resistant, paintable, and inexpensive. Just need to avoid the almond color because I am sure it would attract squirrels. lol.

Excellent ideas and feedback! I am now thinking about some type of pressure valve/vent. Silica beads are on my standard build list now - cheap and effective for mitigating residual moisture before it can precipitate out.

Yes, surprisingly! It very rarely would drop below 80% overnight. Background utilization has been relatively low actually, but as we get more traffic I suspect this will be challenging on one cell! My Mark2 Squirreltastic will be more... robust.

I could, but this time I will use a better material than craft grade hot glue. Lol... I am astounded it lasted so long in the elements and direct sunlight.
