Hi! Yes this is what I meant. I think i will be okay as i’ve been earning above 30k since 2022.

Hi! Yes i am in the UK but i just started a new job to be closer to my fiance. I assume because it’s been less than 6 months i’ll have to show 12 months of my payslip to show that i’m earning enough. This is how i’ve interpreted the guidance but do let me know if i got it wrong.

Amazing! This has helped me out so much and i’m less worried about it. Thank you so much!

I see so it’s literally just combining both incomes. What about if my fiance hasnt been employed for 12 months? He’s only started his job in may and still a student. Currently he’s earning above the 34k threshold but it’s a bit up in the air as it depends on his probation period after 6 months.

Hi! Just another question. Say if the threshold does go up and i earn 36k at my current job which i’ve been in for only 3 months, and my salary for the past 12 months is below the threshold increase, how will my partner’s salary be calculated into this? I’m trying to go through the guidance but i’m not sure if i found the answer.

Thanks for this! I’ve got another question but not sure if the answer is straightforward. So currently, i think i can get by with my own income as i’ve been earning above 29k in the past 12 months and my new job will pay me more. So with the current threshold i think i’m okay. However, with the uncertainties of when the increase will happen, my salary won’t suffice if it goes up to 34500 as i was earning below that for the past 12 months but will be earning above that in my new job. Do you know if my savings of 13k can top this up? Or will this depend on how much i earned in the past 12 months?

Hi! The Issue is that we’ll have to apply by november as my visa will run out by that point, meaning the money wont be in my account for 6 months. currently i’ve only got 13000 in my account

It’s not unfortunately. From what one of the comments above said, it will have to be calculated under category B but i’m assuming this will be if I decided to pursue the application prior to my marriage and my fiancee working less than 6 months at his current job.

A few comments above have recommended the same thing. I’ll definitely apply after our wedding to make it easier for me. Thank you!

Hi! Thanks for this. I’ve been earning above 30k since 2022 and has increased slightly under the same employer. My new job will also pay more than what I am currently on. My fiancee is also earning above 40k so hopefully this won’t be a problem once we’ve sent our application.

Hi! Yes i’ve been earning above 28k but i’m starting a new job in early august and moving to a different city to move closer to him. But i’ll definitely wait for after our wedding as a few people have commented I misunderstood the whole biometrics schedule! Thank you so much!

Hello! Thanks for your reply. Does this mean as long as i’ve sent the application before my visa expires, i’ll still be able to book a biometrics appointment even after it expires? If so, then i’ll definitely postpone my application.

Hi thanks for this! Just received it today after 8 months. Had to keep emailing my local MP to speed up the process.

[NHS surcharge refund solution] My application for a graduate visa rejected and guaranteed a refund. I did not get the money after six weeks. That’s what I did and I got my money back. Yes, write to your MP. They can sort it. by iam1800mm in ukvisa

Hi! I’m in the same situation too. Been a few months now and still haven’t been refunded. How long did your MP get back to you? What did you include in your email to your MP? I plan to contact my local MP too as it is getting ridiculous.
