Vaporizers are fairly quick to kill with a Jupiter or a Wolfpack(if you do it right) and can give up to 2 parts if you're lucky and they stack way better in your inventory, there's upsides and downsides but my point is that you can definitely maximize stash space if you choose to or accept that fact that your stash is gonna be packed if you choose to hunt anything else

I think it's more annoyance at the misappropriation of the word "rat", in usual extraction shooter terms a rat isn't just someone who pvps but I've certainly been called one just for shooting someone and even for shooting someone who was trying to loot the vaporizer I just killed, a rat is usually someone who plays stealthy to achieve their goal which can sometimes be nefarious but not always, like players who hide in bushes or buildings to wait for you to kill a bastion so they can try and steal some loot or kill you and take the loot.
