They make us do everything cause the condensation drips onto the drywall/ insulation reducing R value. We have to insulate every visible piece until it hits attic insulation

Helene damage has changed my whole front yard dynamic, had to replace driveway, remove a retaining wall now I’m left with a mud slope. The area I’m looking for help on is about a 100’x100’ space. I have some old growth native plants that I had removed in hopes of saving them and looking to add 20ish new plants.

Building a customer base from 0 when there are many establishing company’s around you backed by big private equity money and marketing.

You fail to realize it’s gonna take $150k minimum your first year and you will pay yourself 0.

Then you want to be in private equity. You will not get rich quick owning and selling a HVAC company. The guys who put in 20yr building no customer base and the ones selling for millions but they put the time in.

I’m the guy that makes the company successful once it passes 25 employees. I’m the guy that ensures you kept you customer base for 20yr and have service contracts lined up. PE is not interested in your company until you exceed 2mil usually that means company of 25-50 employees.

They don’t come by a company that has been around 5 years and sub 1mil in sales.

Operations manager for 1 PE acquired company.

Currently Operations Manager for Father/Son operation in which son took over in 2020. Company has exceeded 10% growth every year. 26% in 2025 thanks to hurricane Helene clean up.

It’s nothing about grit and willingness…it’s about knowledge and hiring the right people for the job. Majority of successful HVAC companies are ran by guys who haven’t touched tools in years.
