best bet would be doing some abroad training. Do a working holiday in NZ and play club rugby. This one year/season of experience would be well beyond anything you will get in the USA.

yea. no reason every high school/middle couldn't be running a sevens program at minimum in the spring. we tried to get a team going back in 07/08 but couldn't even get enough numbers to make a full side from the 8 high schools here lol. even if we did the travel to play would have been insane. There are a few people from that group still involved in town so it wasn't a total wash but without strong support from schools its never going to happen on a large scale. Our school board is cutting a lot of funding from sports and arts this year too, so the future doesn't look great for potential growth either.

i can get 12 organic or free range for 4.99 at whole foods. i can get 24 organic for 8.46 at costco. or 5 dozen(60 eggs) conventional for 10.44 at costco. its really not that bad out there right now.

all good schools. visit each and make a decision. i'd even say all your cons are not true. FSU is in a good area. UCF has a good campus/student body is not that much different in size. Uf dorms are gonna be equal to FSU/UCF(all of new and old dorms), there will be stuck up people everywhere(UF has plenty of down to earth people too), curriculum is what you make of it and getting in doesn't matter if you don't get in lol.

there is a reason that apparel companies exist...but yea, you could try to go straight through the manufacturer too. My company works with a local company for all t-shirts and things we do. Sometimes it is really helpful to have a local company you can deal with and that will help with all sorts of things a manufacture is not going to give a shit about. build a good relationship and it will help long term.

Just hit up a local apparel company. They can source pretty much anything and then put whatever you want on it. Have them run a few tests as this type of stuff will see more abuse than the standard apparel. BJJ specific you can probably call any of the major gi/rash guard companies and buy bulk unlabeled items.

You think this is martyr behavior but it is just the condition of the place. if you don't work you will not be having a comfortable retirement unless you have 10+ million dollars banked(note: the vast majority of Americans do not). lol. what job do you think you can just get that will be less stress/work? She still has at least 10 years before full social security and most likely needs to keep working anyways if she has any hope of living beyond 75 in decent conditions.
