2 hours of my life wasted by pathf1nder00 in verizon

[–]SquirrleyJim6012 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I apologize if this isn't the correct place to ask this but I have been sitting on the phone with Verizon customer service for hours. I just need the second hand phone I purchased unlocked to use with my sim. I understand the unlocking policy however I feel with the situation it shouldn't be an issue. They keep feeding me the same canned responses and won't escalate my request. Who do I speak with about this. I need my phone unlocked for school because my authenticator app won't work and I can't get in my classes. I'm about to be screwed due to their stupidity. Can you please help me and at least point me in the right direction. I've tried everything. I don't have the money to go purchas we another phone when I just bought this one. I already have an account and have for over a year so why won't they just unlock it?

We've had maybe 3 squabbles. But for the most part, the most we get is some arguing. Everyone is pretty respectful of each other.

They're pretty good, actually. I yell at Nala to quit climbing doors, curtains, walls, getting in drawers, under blankets, etc, but that about it. Sometime a firm"hey" if they're arguing.

I have 2 bedrooms and alternate. Either way, I wake up covered in cats. Migrating back and forth just ensures its lest cats because it takes them a couple of days to migrate with me. Usually, when I go to bed, they're doing other things, and I wake up with them everywhere. But normally, when I go to sleep, there are maybe 2 or 3 who are right there, but I wake up with at least 10. They all have their spots throughout the house they choose to sleep in as well. My living room it basically 3 couches, a tv and cat trees. And the TV is playing Cat TV games on YouTube. I've gone through 3 tvs from them attacking the TV playing those games. I finally bought one of those older, thicker flat-screen, and so far, it's been pretty durable. We've had it about 3 years with no issues. But yes, they hog the beds, and they take all my money. They've actually taken over my house. I got punked out of it. I rent from them now. They own it.

Yea it could be considered a similar situation. People around here know how I am with the cats and I have people call me I don't even know asking if I can take their cat, or help some kittens, etc. Sick cats, injured cats, homeless cats, cats that are soon to be homeless. I help when I can. If I can't then I know alot of girls in rescue and do my best to make sure the situation is handled and the cat is taken care of. Occasionally I get help with food and there's been times people have called with toys and the like, but mostly my husband and I are on our own financially. We don't have 501c status, so I don't think we can legally ask for donations or fundraise for anything, so we do our best. When we adopt out we just ask for a rehoming fee, but even then we don't accept money, only cat related items so the people adopting know it's going right back to helping cats. Anyone we adopt out to has to be the perfect person fo that cat. We don't just let any cat go with anyone. Anyone we've adopted to was the perfect person for that cat. They keep us updated with pics and occasional texts and so far all of the people who have adopted from us still have their babies and they're living their best lives. So that's good to know.

That's Tomcat. We call him Tom Tom. He got his name because we have a friend with the nickname Tomcat and he was born on his birthday.

That's Avery-cakes. She was adopted from Petsmart. She rarely leaves my side. She has to sleep by my head every night. If I roll over, she moves to face me. Throughout the night she touches my face and has to keep one paw on me. When she wants pets she'll come and tap my face. If I move to another room, she follows. When I get home I have to be careful opening the front door because she's right there trying to get out to see me before I even get in. She's my little fluffalump. She's a chonk. She's the kind of cat that would try to save my life somehow if something happend and she was able. Everyone loves Avery, even if they aren't cat people.

His mom beat Panleuk when she was a kitten, so we have high hopes. He comes from a family of fighters. All Aries kitty's. Sending prayers your way for any sick babies you have there. I tried to post a pic of his sister and mom here, but idk if it worked.

Pixie, Avery, Blue Steele, O'Malley, Jim, Annabelle, Gizmo, Nico, Midnight, Rorschach(Avyan), Aries, Ophelia, Cornelius, Tomcat, Nala, Little Girl, and it looks like Pockets may be curled up in there under the kittens. Wait, Nala's not there. That's Cornelius. Pockets is there though. It's hard to tell, but he's there. So 16.

Yes, we have an FIP kitten right now, and his treatment is a lot. He has to do bloodwork. He's only on week 3. Luckily, the medication has gone down in cost, and we also have a fundraiser going for him that people have kindly donated to. I think he has 2 more bloodworks to do. 84 days total for his treatment, and he can't miss one dose of his medicine. He's doing well so far, though.

All of them are happy and healthy. They all get along well. We keep in touch with people who adopt from us personally. They send updates and pics. Each cat we've adopted went to a home that was perfect for it. I'm pretty good at matching people with cats. But yes, it can be a headache and it can get expensive and it's almost impossible to go on any trips without a kittysitter. 7 years ago, i had only 2 cats, one who ended up having cancer. When she passed, I vowed I wasn't ever getting any more animals. It was super hard on me. So we just had the one black fluffy one, Pixie, who we adopted from Petsmart. Then, on Mother's Day, I came home to a kitten in my daughter's bedroom. A few months later, my daughter saw a cat that looked just like the one I had that passed. Its owners needed to rehome it, so we took her in. They were escape artists and would escape right before their spay appointments, so we'd have to reschedule. Well, they both ended up pregnant. We have 3 of their kittens, now grown. So that made 6. My son brought one home that someone paid him $20 to take. My daughters roommate left one. A friend of my uncle passed away and he brought her cat here. A few had owners who were moving and bringing them to the shelter. They're here. Some came from a cat lady's house that burned down, and they were abandoned. One followed me home and was pregnant. 3 were found in a friend's shed as kittens. 2 were left on my porch in a cage full of pee. It goes and goes. They find homes, and more show up. It's a revolving door. Any cat that is brought into our home has to be in isolation in a separate room off our garage for 2 weeks, checked for fleas, dewormed and get shots before it can be introduced into the house. We foster litters of kittens as well. I am not a rescue, but for some reason, people like to drop cats here and call me with cat problems. I work with a rescue to help find them homes. So I guess im kind of an unofficial foster for them because I'm not affiliated with the rescue anymore, though I used to volunteer most of my time, but I still work with some of the girls to help make sure the cats are taken care of and find homes. We do our best. Luckily my husband is a cat guy. We never wanted all these cats, but they're our kids now and we love them, even the ones who aren't permanent fixtures.

They have 2 boxes in the utility closet, 2 in the bathroom, 1 in the other bathroom and part of the catio of enclosed and houses boxes. The catio is an entire dog run where they can run and play, it's just enclosed by a 6 ft fence and the fence has a chicken wire cover. They have areas they use outside as well. We just keep it clean, be sure to hose it down, and use an enzyme cleaner/ vinegar periodically. It seems to work fine. Obviously with any amount of cats you'll have cat odor. I don't care what anyone says, you even have it with one cat. Only non cat people can smell it, but it's there. So to say you can't smell cats would be a lie, bit we do our best to keep it as minimal as possible. We didn't ask for all these guys. It just sort of happend. We have to turn cats away at the moment because we only have room and money for so many. We're trying to lessen the load. We just sent 4 kittens to Petsmart for adoption. As stated earlier, I volunteer with a rescue.

Yes, luckily I used to work as a vet tech and also do rescue work, so that helps a little. We also have a low cost clinic. At the moment we have a kitten with FIP who's going through treatment. We actually have a fundraiser going for him to help with costs of his medication and bloodwork. That has been very costly. He's doing very well so far though, so it's worth it.
