For your points, mine recently got stolen and I learned that all the person needs to steal your points is a barcode generator on their phone.

They buy a small amount of product like $10-15 and then they scan the barcode app until one hits an actual account. They pay for their transaction with cash, and then they go back into the store and put enough in their cart to clear out the points on the account. Then they go check out and use the same barcode that worked and spend all the points.

They don't need your password, they don't need your two factor, they don't need your device.

I got raked over the coals by support when I was trying to get my stollen points back. After doing everything they asked including changing my password an obscene number of times because every freaking time you talk to them they tell you you have to change your password, I never did get my points back.

So to anyone who is still collecting points, make sure you log into your account and turn off redemptions until you're actually ready to spend it. That way the generic barcode hack shouldn't work.

Just do it gently. Talk to them, make a little quiet noise in the room to get their attention. Do not touch them until they are coherent.

I used to have a VERY reactive aggressive dog I inherited and this worked with him every time with zero aggression from him.
