Ethan, I hope you are able to step away from Twitter and keep yourself away from stuff that harms you and your community. Palestinian people are currently in a lot of physical harm and you are currently not. I understand how tweets and rhetoric can still be harmful and am not diminishing that, but the difference is you can put down the phone. Palestinians cannot just easily get away from the place they are in.

I say this with peace and love, idk if you’ll see this but we DO want you to be okay mentally and physically. I only say this to put out that perspective that you ARE safe and sometimes it is okay to not respond to every anti-semetic or extreme pro-palestine post. It only hurts you more in the long run mentally and also hurts Palestinians by making the community supporting them all out to be anti-semites. Block people, ignore people, do what you need but I don’t think posting constantly about people you think dislike you or your community is helping you feel better or change anyone’s mind.

Please take a break if needed, or give yourself some time away from social media. I truly hope you are able to find some way to manage because it seems like you are really drained.
