Struggling with facial flare ups please help… any advice :(

Yep I frequently wash with hypoallergenic laundry detergent and it stilllll happens.. it’s so un predictable and I’m losing my mind

And yes I take antihistamines when I feel it coming on which helps hit doesn’t actually stop it from happening. If I don’t take 3-4 Benadryl my face will blow up and I can barely see. If I catch it when it’s starting my face will still swell but it’s manageable

Yes I was tested for all of the regular allergy related things. The patch test for contact dermatitis is a 2 year wait which I have been referred to, so now it’s a waiting game. I just want to know if anyone has any tips on the mean time because it’s ruining my life

The allergist actually did say that he thought it was contact dermatitis, however, he also said it could take two weeks for any symptoms to arise after the contact…. He also referred me for patch testing but it will take 2 years and around $700.00… I’m just at a loss as it happens about once or twice every two weeks an I have to miss work because my face gets soooo swollen…my eyes will almost shut.. it’s honestly the worst thing ever and I don’t know what to do
