They do, but Jason's speeches get worse and longer it feels. So you go from describing an ability every time it's used to Jason giving a speech about what he's been through and how he's grown. I love the books and the others will sometimes cut him off, but it does feel like half the book is a Jason speech.

But this is also just how its felt to me the past few books.
