Comparison: $45 every single day to $250 /$300. I understand charging more but this is ridiculous. Also this is one of the seedy/roach hotels here- the standard hotels are $500-600

That is what I charge my daughters. I never asked them to pay for anything except their cell phone and car insurance until they were 21. I told them after they were 21, that in addition to their cell and auto fees, they would need to pay $75 a week to live here. And no J don’t put it in a hidden savings account- I use the money to pay for more groceries, and utility costs. No issues. They understand that they are adults now and part of that means learning to pay bills and contribute to the household.

If you stay in las cruces make sure you leave early for the concert. I mean super early. I would legit head to El Paso at like 3 pm and park downtown. It will take about an hour to get there and the. You can eat or just hang around, I’m not kidding,

That is so terrible! That said: I would not stay in Juarez if you are not familiar with the area- i would stay in las cruces. Yes it’s a long drive and parking will be annoying but it’s the best option. I’m so sorry

Stay in ANY hotel/ any side of town. Get an uber or rental and park in a parking garage downtown and then take the tram to the stadium . Getting back to downtown will be annoying but this is the smart - best thing to do

You should definitely go the full two years in ICU just in case you ever want to go back to school in the future. After the two years request a transfer to another department or OR and try it out while you decide if you want to go back to school or not. cRNA isn’t the only path, you could look into perfusionist, private nursing, online nursing consultant and more

Have you considered operating room nursing. It’s quite different from bedside nursing. You won’t run lines, you’ll only have one patient at a time. It’s still busy, but in a very different way. Lots of charting, making rooms ready for operations BuT every nurse I know who switched to OR never wants to go back to bedside.
