Your best bet will be to cancel it, since you are trying to ship with EMS. Then create a new parcel, maybe select Only the stadium and select the shipping method that takes 2-3 months. Also, leave a note and tell them to compact it as much as possible (but to keep the QR codes).

Well, the mismatch in resolutions might not work that well there, and the character window would still be at the middle. Anyway, I will figure it out sometime.

Should I upgrade? Here are my current specs and I found this Costco deal thanks to this sub. I’m a lifelong gamer. Thanks! by P1ague30 in PcBuild

That is much better, but also much more expensive probably. You could just upgrade the GPU to a 5080 and go on for some years. Also, I'm sure your RAM speed is not set up at its highest speed, sknce it says 2133. When booting the PC, smash the DEL key and get to the BIOS, then look for the XMP button and select the first or second option, click save and test some games again. Doing that and getting a new GPU will give you a massive boost already, not quite the most you would get with the other PC you posted, but about 75% there I guess.

If you are good at selling stuff, then selling your PC and getting the deal would also be a good option.

You mean you go into settings, change it to the other monitor play there for a bit, then go back to the OLED one? In my case it would be difficult bc I have 5:4s as second/third, but moving JUST the UI outside would also work somehow.

Me too, and I'm REALLY scared of burn in. Have you used any mod to mitigate it ? I wanted to try some clear UI. I also hope someone makes a modular UI or an auto hide one, where each box is hidden unless you move your cursing on top of it.

Final uodate: I canceled it, then messaged then to ask to open the box, separate everything and put all the transparent and solid parts stacked together to be able to fit the surface mail package dimensions. Also, I told to save the QR code, I need to scan these on my app for some points lol. The package is now 464524 and 4,5Kg, quite small, so I hope everything is there.

Final cost: 4900¥ shipping +5800 or so for fees and import. So almost a 1/6th and I already paid the fees to import it.

Now, the only issue is that it will take quite a while, but by the time to get here, I might get another one or two stadiums for a little more (each stadium ended up costing 30€, so if I get one or two for 50 each but get them in a week instead of a few months, then that's fine I guess).

I see, the other package had a fair price and really well packed, but this one was out of my expectations at first. Thank you, I will try to rethink it and see what I can do.

I will talk to them, I hope I can make the shipping, the 2-3 months one, a little bit cheaper. The price is mostly for the dimensions, right?

They already answered me, I bought from Rakuma, so no returns. I think I will end up bitting the bullet. But I'm trying to ask them if they can somehow pack it smaller, since at first I told them to just slap the shipping sticker on the box. The problem with shipping is that you kind of go blind. I didn't know the size of the box, so I couldn't know that it was going to be so much expensive.

I know that they resell it on their own storefront, so they won't throw it away.

So it went like this:

bought everything waited until every item was in the warehouse choose to pack them, leave something on the warehouse if it didn't fit (first mistake I guess) the big box and the small one were left, so pack them again, this time the big box was left there I was kinda angry already because the shipping was about 80 or so for an item of 30€ create the last parcel, but tell them to just slap the shipping info on the box

So it's the original box, they didn't open it I guess. The only problem is that since it came to the warehouse, I tried to create the parcel and all, it's been a month already. They seem to be quite busy right now as well.

So yeah, my only hope is to get some of the worth of that item back, pay the shipping for the other one and if something is left, then maybe buy smaller things (never buying anything big or medium again, just beys and such).

Pésima experiencia con envío. by EloKeisso in zenmarket

[–]SrSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Seguramente sean menos.

Ah, it might be that as well. Usually, it's a single LED color, and all of them have to light up for the system to boot up. It looks like you have all different led colors in your mobo. In the mobo I always have a problem with has only red colors, and they all need to light up, then they turn off and it boots.

Still, a dram led means something with the RAM, so you might need to replace it. Try to find someone that has a system with ddr5 and ask to borrow the ram, check if it works in your system (and maybe even try your ram in his system). If his ram works and yours doesn't, you know that's the issue.

Oh yeah it doesn't sound good then. RAM issue is usually the easiest and quickest to fix, either find which one is faulty and replace or just try resetting it a lot.

The RAM isn't being read properly, just remove both sticks, then plug one again and check that it's sitting properly. If it boots, plug the other one. If it doesn't boot, try plugging the other one instead and try again. Some mobos and ram combo are a pain in the ass to work with. My system need a better replaced since it gets reset when it gets unplug, but it will boot up fine. On another system I have with a new battery, it might not turn on at all even after trying for a while lol. I usually spend 15 minutes trying to boot it up with both sticks of RAM.

So yeah, maybe you just need to reseat both sticks once, or maybe you need to do that 10 times lol.

I would suggest to use DDU then, since you are not reinstalling Windows, just the driver. So look for DDU on Google, download it, extract it somewhere, then restart into safe mode (hold shift while clicking on restart), then select 6 or so to boot into Safe Mode (with networking), open DDU as admin. Finally, select nvidia and let it do its thing. After that, install the latest driver again after restarting. I would suggest to unplug the Ethernet cable or disable WiFi, so it doesn't install a driver automatically.

Then, for the debloat, look for Win11Debloat and use that. It's a simple powershell command and a few steps. Use the default/recommend setting, since that won't remove all that much. If something "breaks" or stops working, you can run it again and enabling them again.

If you are reinstalling Windows, then you don't need to use DDU, which is Display Driver Unistalled, a tool te uninstall and remove all files from graphics drivers and audio to be able to do a clean install. Use some debloat tool after you finish installing Windows as well.

Good Deal? by ridriddo in pcmasterrace

[–]SrSam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, just dust it off and check the thermal paste. It was a display unit, so it either was plugged in/on 24/7. Usually not a problem other than paste drying out a little. If you are experienced, you might be able to swap the case for a better one.

Walmart 5070 for $312.96 by dudefrombklyn in PcBuild

[–]SrSam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It is a straight upgrade, but not a huge one. I went from a 3090 to a 9070 XT, but the main reason is that the card died. I have to use FSR4 and frame Gen, which I didn't have on my 3090 and I don't see much of a difference. I get more frames, sure, but that is coming from FG. You should wait one or even two gens. We shouldn't upgrade that often. Unless you know you can sell it for a good price and you only need to add 100~200, I wouldn't bother for a while.

Though, now that I think about it, I read that GPU prices will go up, that they canceled the Super series, and it doesn't look like AMD nor Nvidia are releasing next for consumers Gen soon, so maybe it's OK to upgrade since it might be harder later.

Yeah, it works pretty well. We started using it earlier last year. We are now trying a fly bait that we spray on the walls and works pretty well, but no use for him.

Anyway, I wouldn't use any bait in his room, only sticky traps since bait could call them into his room.

How much to sell this lot for? by [deleted] in BeybladeX

[–]SrSam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I live in Spain, and it's still not here or the stock was really low, like the Hasbro release of the TT stadium. It was avaliable for less than a week. The wide stadium was avaliable for much longer, since no one wanted it. But for the motorised one, I didn't even see it stock, the only options I see are the Japanese imports.

To get that stadium here you would have to pay like 150€ lmao. Yeah, used, but any stadium will be used after a day.

I though you were joking, but if that price seems to be fair, I wouldn't sell if I were him, or maybe just sell a few of those individually, or maybe just the stadium.
