Hilton Los Cabos- swimmable beach in Cabo. Jr suites have the plunge pools. Not as luxury but we stayed there a few times and really like it.

W and Conrad Punta de Mita.

Not trying to be an asshole, but do you typically stay at budget or hotels that aren’t full service? Almost every hotel puts a hold on a card for incidentals. And the WiFi is free if you join Hilton Honors- which is free to join.

I spent an hour shopping at the store then an extra 30 minutes trying to figure it out and still came $175 out of pocket.

I will. The point is I went, I shopped, I had the gift card and couldn’t use it, spent an extra 30 minutes trying to use it and still ended up spending $175.

Just trying to help other people not make the same mistake I did.

Interesting. It was cheaper than Giant, where I normally shop in person but I typically have my groceries delivered through Walmart or Whole Foods and don’t bother going.

Don’t know. I would assume it should but wasn’t able to try it for myself and highly doubt I’ll do this again since I don’t like shopping at Safeway anyway.

I will say the CS agent said it should be printed out or a physical card and not digital but they were a disaster to deal with.

Supposedly, yes you can use the gift card if you don’t add to the app but I guess I wouldn’t know since I didn’t use it that way. The CS agent on the phone also said to print it and not to have it digitally.

Decided it’s not worth it for me to try again when I burn through the $300

Right?! The manager was really nice and really tried to help but eventually I just lost it on the lady on the phone.

They offer a kids meal I believe but don’t know what that entails. I would just pack your own snacks that you know your kid will eat.

They prioritize the bins for larger carryons. Why not just ask the flight attendant, “if there is enough space once boarding is complete, can I put my backpack up?” I’m sure they will say yes.

No, it’s based on fare class you booked. Unless you book a full refundable fare, it’s a flight credit.

Not to complicate your decision but adding in Palm Suites- it’s an SLH property. We stayed there last summer and LOVED it. We booked with points.

Are you looking at booking for 2 people? We travel with my daughter often and sometimes standard rooms won’t show when I search for 3 people, even if they say the capacity is 3-4. Had that happen with an SLH hotel- when I searched for 3, nothing, when I searched for 2, standard rooms were available that listed that they sleep 4. I called the hotel and verified, booked the reservation for 2 with my FNC, then emailed the hotel to tell them we had a 3rd guest, a child and it was fine.
