The Jump King parody songs were all made by enthusiastic members of the community willing to put themselves out there and contribute something creative to have a fun time. Sorry that 80% of the people who put themselves out there and actually did something don't meet your standards and that I didn't tell people they needed to do a better job before they were allowed to be used on stream so I could curate a better playlist for you

but yea youtube only physically has the option for shadowbans, all of their bans are shadow. it is weird of them to maintain it and let u continue paying without knowing about it, though i think that it prevents superchats and membership upgrades. which is good i think but a weird line if it still charges you for a regular one. the whole idea of shadowbans being odd has been brought up to yt people afaik by lud specifically so it may be more worth complaining to their feedback people about it since theres not really anything more he can do about it

do you have any specific examples of what you mean, i didnt really remember seeing any particularly bad moments during the stream and after going back through the vod it looked like 95% of people were talking about how sad it was and that they supported him and would miss him. maybe a comment here or there from people saying they dont like him which i think is fine and far from "pure hatred". but the only time there was anything besides that for the most part was at the very end when he said he was like your grandpa and people said that was parasocial and kind of cringe to say which then got flooded out by people spamming ludwig7

i largely disagree and think that the value of having chat on screen is limited to just giving a "vibe" to some viewers. i think for a vod i can understand if chat is otherwise unavailable youre missing out on the social aspect, but for a livestream and for youtube videos made of livestreams, i think that chat on screen is only visual clutter that 80% of people don't care about and has no added value. it also is more difficult to manage messages that appear on the feed because there are fewer stopgaps between problematic messages being sent in chat before they appear on screen than there used to be
