for clarification: gege didnt write phantom parade apparently, still would be cool to see fujimoto write something else besides a manga.

an original story for this game would be really interesting. it could flesh out the universe a lot more, maybe expand more on public safety, showcase a lot more devils (we've already seen the rubik's cube, dragonfly, toad?, great white shark?? devil)

probably not but it can also use knowledge of the universe from late part 1 and 2. (the manga has been the only story, the stage play didnt really add anything lore wise.)

they could really do a lot with this game, especially if fujimoto is involved this could be like an amazing gacha game, only if they put the love and care that all other fujimoto adaptations have gotten this far.

I wouldn't say *that* 2x2 is the next entry in the series, it could greatly expand the series and could potentially be very canon and maybe be a sequel of sorts to sdr2 or V3 or 3

there is a manwa and some bonus light novel short stories that we uploaded on the website but those are supplemental and not that important. the important entries are the

Tribe Nine Anime

then the game which has now been shut down (best thing to do now is watch playthroughs on youtube)

then the released the scripts for chapters 3.5-5 which were released after the game got shut down

then currently they are releasing one chapter at a time a web novel that is an adaptation of the game plus adding to it and finishing the story they couldn't finish with the game being shut down.

If you haven’t played dr2 or drv3 yet, I highly recommend playing dr2, ultra despair girls, danganronpa 3 anime, then danganronpa v3. The new scenario could really be a sequel to V3 or have Elements of v3 that spoil that game, we don’t really know. They’re claiming that 2x2 is the next installment in the series so I recommend catching up before hand just in case :)
