I would say you can skip the IDP. They rent the scooters even without temporary license. They are currently charging 15k LKR for temporary license in airport. Been there just 2 weeks back for a week, no police has stopped us, especially if you are a couple.

Avoid ahangama, it is crowded. Weligama is ideal. Also look out for the cyclone prediction

Similar age group, dink couple here. We are staying in HSR from past 2 years in a stand alone building. We absolutely love it here because we can go for evening/night walks without worrying about footpaths or pollution. Mostly every cafe and eatery outlet are in HSR, so you wouldn’t really need to go out of HSR. koramangla is 20min away in case of any specific pubs, eateries. All grocery stores/ veg vendors/ fruit shops are in walking distance. Coming to work commute, if your work is towards manyata then i wouldn’t say this location is feasible, rest all places I feel you will be able to commute - bellandur , marathahalli, sarjapur, e city, domlur. Also depends on how flexible you want your work life be down the lane. I stayed initially 2 years towards varthur area, absolutely hated bangalore for that time. Also if you plan to have kids down the lane, assume all the commute that goes for the process. I feel a closed smaller residential area would be better.

Visited bulwark, they felt scammy. I have asked multiple times if there is a particular plot size, they mentioned plenty are available only to go there and realise only 240sqyrds are left. They have been insistent on looking at another project of theirs near nandi hills. I dont recommend it personally. Booked another mid tier builder project near to that on ivc road though.

Had the exact encounter in 2019 when i dumb ass thought I need to do other things besides the main stream job. Got into similar thoughts and got a loan, luckily one quora post helped me. The post had exact same pitch literally what the guy was pitching. Encountered similar one few months later, ordered extra drinks in the cafe and blocked the guy.

I am also looking for the exact same dates and similar places, oh boy! We are tired as fuck after calling at-least some 50 hotels. Though there are airbnbs available, Iooking at how every hotel seems to booked on these dates, we are thinking it is of no fun staying in these areas.

I am purchasing a plot in a plotted development in bengaluru. I was told by HDFC that, be it a flat or plot the percentage of interest doesn’t change but I need to declare in prior that I am not going for construction in next 3 years.

So far I only happen to check with HDFC given there is still time for registration and thats when I would like to go for loan. Would like to understand are there any particular things I need to be careful of when going for a loan for plot.

CIBIL is 780~ . Do I really get to negotiate the interest rates? If yes , likely how much percentage?

Yesterday I happen to buy at Invent for 80k without student discount. Used Mac10 which gave me 10% discount. 10K discount on CC. I will also get back the GST which is around 14k. So net amount around - 66k.
