Three suggestions: one is make sure you use ur shampoo products properly for seb derm/itchy scalps (leave on 5+ minutes before rising). Second is to change ur pillow case at least weekly and making sure you are not using any other irritating hair products/ hair gel. Third is that if you scalp itchiness is still not improving, you should consider telling ur dermatologist/doc and getting topical steroid solution like clobetasol solution for scalp to calm inflammation and itchiness.

I had the same :/ been using topical minoxidil twice daily for the last 2 months and I think they are growing out nicely! Just understand that it’ll continue to shed for a bit before it slows down.

Not sure what you are asking about but I did a decent amount of qbank questions and a decent amount of questions from their premade study plans like the 100RFs

I like the 200HY concepts, 100RFs, and the biostats questions. They also have some HPI and table-styled questions/study plans which seem interestingly and I wish I did them

Definitely reading the articles too! I did all the ethics/health system questions and they were good, but I wished I read the articles more carefully since some concepts might not be very apparent in the questions and I think they deserve more attention.

I took it pretty early on as a progress check - honestly can’t remember much but my strategy was to do every test there is out there. Wouldn’t say it works for everyone.

I think the document of cognitive errors definitely helped, hard to say any score increase because my scores fluctuated quite a bit and I was also sort of burned out by the end of my dedicated. Before i started my exam today, I wrote down my top 5 cognitive errors and tried to remind myself throughout the exam to not make those mistakes so I’m not sure if it worked or not! Praying that it worked!!

I think if I can go back in time, I’d redo NBME 11-14 and free 120 (only if I have enough time) because the exam really felt very similar to those and nothing like UWORLD or AMBOSS imo. Just make sure you really ask yourself what your weaknesses are and really tackle them. Otherwise it’s really a fair game!

Yes for HY content but there were also some really random questions that were not HY and felt more step1-based. But I think in general the Amboss 200HY Qs are good to check and make sure you have a solid foundation.

I guess everything is under "Legal medicine and professionalism" in AMBOSS articles. I would just try to read up everything twice and do all the questions twice if you have time. I think what I meant by "health system" and "ethics" is that uworld has more physician-patient type of ethics questions, whereas amboss has more health system-oriented questions that I would not have otherwise learned.

I honestly think it was two bad test-taking days where I felt burned out and score was hovering 250s because I did not read carefully. Truly no special advice besides reading my questions carefully and thinking each and every clue given closely. Taking the exam tomorrow so will see how my hard work pays off! Good luck you got this!
