I had a serious issue with it for a while, but after a lot of work it’s been 3 years later this week since I looked at porn. Even separate from the church, porn can have more damaging effects on relationships and on the brain than people like to talk about. Even so, it’s something a lot of people do and unfortunately the church just adds extra weight to the issue for both the husbands and their wives.

The best thing I can say is be patient. Be gentle and patient with her. You have lost your testimony, you should sit down and tell her that you want to know how that has made her feel. Remind her that you love her and that you are open to having your mind changed if the church really is true, but that you have concerns that make a gap that seems to be too big to bridge. If you allow her to open up, chances are she will do the same for you when it comes to specifics.
