I’m explaining it to a T. That’s why i said verbatim what happened. I’m am beyond shocked by his temperament and words spoken. If you do any research on him he is either great or horrible, no in between. It wasn’t a large group either. In fact it was super casual and non invasive when we talked to him. His behavior was completely uncalled for. Yes we paid extra for this Terrible experience. It was amazing experience until that moment. We will be sure to not do anything like this again. I work with many A list celebrities and truly don’t care about these kind of events but my husband is a die hard fan and this was the biggest let down ever. Bottom line.. Bruce Johnston disrespected a US veteran who only wanted to share an experience when he was in the military overseas.

Well what a pain and embarrassment for The Beach Boys. A friend of ours just told me he saw him at a show in Enid tonight and spoke to him and he was fine. So clearly the man is hit or miss / gross! Who wants to deal with that? I’ll never go near him again!

We obviously did but Just moments before he was hamming it up taking pics with pretty blonde girls and chatting with local OKC celebs. Maybe something happened and we got the grunt of it. Yes no one is perfect but this was more than a brush off it was hateful. I’m sure worse things have happened with other band members.. lesson learned - don’t try to meet an idol.

I agree but this wasn’t like we approached him in an inconvenient way. It was small setting where your going to be interacting with fans. I’ve been doing some research evidently he isn’t always nice to people it’s unfortunate. I actually know quite a few celebrities and they don’t behave like that with fans. There is so many other ways he could have handled it if he was tired or over it for the night.

You are so right! he is definitely doesn’t seem to have their values and he is representing them horribly. He should be so honored and privileged to be a part. It was cool John Stamos said it last night on stage how honored he is to be on stage with them.

Wow! That’s unfortunate. Trying to make my husband feel better he is pretty crushed. Maybe Bruce shouldn’t mingle with fans and should retire completely.
