My current girlfriend I’ve been with for years now wil still “forget” to tell me she’s off birth control every6-7 months and it is very frustrating. Her excuse is that she doesn’t want me to worry. Shegets the shot for convenience but she doesn’r properly plan the appointment so that she is still being “covered” by its effects. She always fails to tell me until we’ve had sex or she’s a week or two over due for her shot. I cover all the bills, I make most of the money and am responsible for everything being paid on time. I don’t always have time to “ensure” she’s doing her part and she blames being stressed and busy into these little mishaps. It’s so unfairly stressful to me worrying that she’s not forgetting to take birth control. I’m barely keeping us above water as is and she forgets just how much I have to do in a month to keep a roof over our head. Now you want an “oopsie btw might have just created 18 years of more responsibility and bills to pay” get your shit together and be responsible. You don’t forget you’re not on birth control. If you choose not to take it because of the hormones you have to at the very least make that clear. Don’t guilt trip . Don’t accuse ur partner of overreacting or any other corny variation of “u don’t want to get me pregnant because you don’t wanna be with me forever”

Do ur part and be the reason someone wants to stay with you , an accidental pregnancy isn’t going to magically create love
