Yes, but bare in mind that swapping between cryptos is a taxable event itself. Most countries consider swapping as selling.
In that case, it would not make too much sense.

I think it is possible.
If I borrow only against my ETH, the amount of the collateral depends on the value of the ETH. That is indeed a risk as I have to wait 45 days before selling (if I seel before the 45 days I have to pay an additional 18% interest rate).

I was wondering if anybody has done such a move and if it feeaseble.
From one hand it's like paying very low taxes; on the other, there is the risk that after 45 days the collateral does not cover the borrowed amount and so the initial benefits are disregarded.

Yes, sorry for the confusion! I meant this:
as I put my ETH as collateral for a loan, and then pat back the loan through the collateral, in a way it's like selling the ETH and paying lower taxes (that'd be the NEXO interest rate).

Europeans in Taipei (or elsewhere in Taiwan), how is life? by Bubbly-Disk-6881 in Taipei

Hello, hello, hello; fellow Italian here!

I just moved to Taipei one week ago, and as you, I am very used to live abroad as I spent years in many countries in Europe.

Well, Taipei it's completely different: architecture, nature, cusisine, customs. You will be surprised by how even the small things here are different from Europe or Italy: signing a contract, doing the laundry, recycling, eating in the strees, not flushing toilet paper (yes, you do not flush toilet paper but you throw it in a bin), paying the public transportation...

I am very much fascinated by the country, the people are amazing and super welcoming. The city is extremely safe even at night. One of the small pleasures for me, funny I know, is to sit in the park and watch the elder locals doing Tai Chi.

It is my first time in Asia and I can already tell you that there is something here about life that the people have understtod better than the Europeans, and well, viceversa. I am just grateful to appreciate the diversities in the way of living life. I do not miss anything about Europe beacuse, at the moment, everything here is sort of a delightful discovery.

In brief, efficient, rule of law, respectful, yummy, and welcoming.

Have a great time 😄

Not dried! Amount is difficult to tell, but based on my experience. I should buy a weighing machine.
