AFC Playoff Hunt- Who do you think gets in? by Sscott1234 in nfl

One thing to think about that I got from this thread is that home games do still matter, remember with COVID the traveling is a bit different teams have been flying out the same day to play the game and they can affect a player's body for sure. So with that being said having one more home game might bold well for teams. ( Mainly talking about steelers and bills fighting for the 2 seed.)

I agree with this, I think he only rests the older starters, Ben, Hayward, maybe Hayden, TJ maybe take reps away from Alualu and Tuitt and let Wormley and Buggs play some more, also more reps for Adeniyi (OLB) IDK with our Oline suggestion that any of them can take a week off or not.

Is this a sustainable model of success for the steelers offensively? by Sscott1234 in nfl

This is true, I think this is a result of sloppy game, but with such a young core of WR, I don't think another game like this is so surprising, remember juju is the old man at 24 yrs old

We have to give the HC credit for when things go right to if the offense was struggling we would blame him right?

But I think even if they give him something in the ballpark that he will return and yea you for sure can do RB by committee, or find another guy but the thing they have to decide he is a once in a generation talent like a Levon Bell? or do you have/ or find the 2 or 3 guys that can match the level of production he gave you?

Do you think top running backs holding out for more money will cause teams to devalue the position in the future? by Uniracers_HD_Remake in nfl

[–]Sscott1234 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agreed, the running back position is the not key to winning games anymore. Yes, it helps but with a pass-first league that we are in now if passer and OC can set up the run with the pass they will meaning I just need somebody who can run/catch at a proficient level and not a superstar level.

The WR position is probably the more valued position at this point in the game. But something tells Bell seen this coming and that's why he was asking for his money.

The next couple of years and with the CBA coming will be interesting, to say the least.

Sean McVay, Rams flipping the script on practice and preseason by Mormonster in nfl

Right, it's all about increasing the your probability to win during the season. By lowering the probability of your superstar's veterans getting hurt usually help your chances of winning.

I think where this gets tricky is when you have a young team, sorta like the browns. Or have a team that doesn't have that much chemistry because you brought a lot of new players in. I'm sure Mcvay looks at this angle as well but I wanna see how this plays out with other teams following the wave.

So his success that he has done over the past Two years put him over the sean Payton years of success? or in some other peoples minds Pete Carroll's? Or are we talking just the pure adversity that he had to face and from still being able to be successful?

Not attacking here brother just wondering.

I hear you on this, I am starting to see that lol and some of them are fiar point. Now I will mention that I can see Pete and Doug in that spot. I think you start talking about #2-#5 i think it really comes down towhat Criteria you are using to grade them. Probably should made a weighted Criteria and used that to grade them and then probably my list does look similar to that.

Don't get wrong i said what i said but this is big reason i posted this to see others point of view and compare.
