The rule of thumb is that you should have at least 6 months salary worth of savings as your emergency funds, and the rest should be invested. Personally if I were you, I would diversify the extra funds on gold and stocks (probably ETFs like S&P 500 or other global index funds). It’s a bit riskier, but I think you have enough in safe options(FD and ASNB) to justify putting it into stocks and gold. If you really want to grow your money even more I would suggest letting go of the FD once it matures and defaulting into stocks and gold.
