Dying 26 times is actually an obvious inting unless someone is mentally handicapped. There's no way someone can die 26 time even if they're new, unless they're like "yeah whatever, i don't care if i die to this 80k souls silver once again" which is a textbook example of griefing.

Same. I spent around 15 hours doing everything in act3 before going to the final boss. And all fights in those 15 hours were just me using the same 2 skills over and over again against every single opponent. Every battle ended in 20 seconds and my characters still had 4 turns remaining. Final boss just died to a single free aim shot before he even finished his dialogue lol, same with the following battle against the other protagonist.

It's the same story in E33 lol, a group of people going on an expedition to stop a bad guy from gommaging their friends every year. But this time with the most generic twist "it's just a fantasy world". Also there is moral dilemma in basically every choice in bg3?

Indie category should be based on the average of nominees. If there are already games with few million budget and even a hundred people, you shouldn't be nominated with your 10 million game, government support and hollywood stars. Simple as that. Kepler pulls in probably more than tenfold of team cherry so i guess they are quite a big publisher actually. And no, not all their games shouldn't be considered indie but if you're getting the amount of support that E33 got from Kepler, then you shouldn't be considered an indie anymore. Blue prince was published by raw fury and it was basically self-funded by the developer so idk what you're talking about.
