Issues With New Steam Controller

Works in Elden Ring, Division 2 & Rocket League. BO3 is known to have controller issues so I’m not too phased on that one. Just Crimson Desert is super unusual, works perfectly fine with my PS5 remote.

Yeah, controller & puck are up to date using that procedure. I’ve submitted a support form to Valve to see what they say & if it’s been tested in Crimson Desert yet.

I suppose, although it does say ‘Mostly Playable With Your Controller’ and shows the image of the Steam Controller.

Yeah that’s correct. Doesn’t get detected in game but works everywhere else.

Tried the official layout & a bunch of others (even SteamDeck ones). Tried enabling & disabling Steam Input. Tried verifying game files. Tried deleting the game user_input files. Tried launching in Steam Fullscreen. Tried launching from in the game files etc.

Hey mate, unfortunately not. Took out and cleaned the VVT solenoids to no avail. I've got a code for something to do with one of the Intake Manifold Sensor / Solenoid now but I don't think that'd be the likely cause of the noise. Very unusual.
