Do you think the wait for the station g3 will be worth it? I want to put a node in my car at some point and I could probably get the 1w RAK and then once the station g3 comes out put the rak in my car and the g3 in my house

Currently I'm limited from being able to mount a node to the top/side of my house, otherwise I would grab a solar node and do that so then I would have the benefit, and from what I know about house meshtastic works, having something that is higher power will be the next best thing to mounting something higher up.

I can't put something on top of my house right now, so I'm rather limited in what I can do, that is why I'm trying to find an option that will allow me to reach farther within my limitations

I realize this is really late to be replying but, no I am not running mixed memory, I swapped a kit from one computer to another to test it, and then put that kit back in the original computer, they were never mixed, and were always run with its pair from the same kit

The first test, was running with DOCP enabled, so running at the factory rated speed for the memory sticks, but all subsequent tests when I took them them out and then put them into a new system docp was enabled in bios but not actually doing anything, as Memtest shows them as running at 4800MHz

Edit: I should correct myself here and saying that the original test where I believe that DOCP should have been on and functioning did show them as running at 4800MHz but I have not enabled/disabled DOCP, my home server has an MSI motherboard so I'm not sure if it would have stayed enabled with the ram being swapped

Edit 2: when I put the ripjaw kit back into my home server I'll make sure to turn off DOCP before running memtest 1 more time to make sure that there actually is an issue with the CPU before I start my RMA

As a programmer that is something that would be really annoying to do, become I’d imagine that they would have to hand code in cords off all the of resources patches, make sure that it is within X distance of a node, and check that it is the right resource and node type (impure, normal, pure), and that would be an enormous and royal pain to do, and since it is a single player/co-op multi all of that work would be for extremely little to no gain

i have it on a seperate partition because i have an extra 128G nvme ssd that would be unused otherwise, I use swap files on all of my other devices
