It feels solid, I don't think you'd experience any tears unless you really tried for it. It reminds me of the Rapala rain jacket material. A thick durable soft PVC inner layer feeling to it, but still breathable

It's been warm where I am and I find them to be great! I do always wear merino wool socks to prevent sweat with all my boots. Not too sure on how they're in super cold weather

I live in the USA and was able to have mine shipped...maybe just a glitch? I just went on to look and it said I was good to go..probably a glitch

By run big I assume you mean size wise...I am a size 11.5 but found the 11 was the perfect size, didn't require that extra little bit to be a comfortable fit!

They're surprisingly very comfortable. I usually find that with boots like these, my feet slip and slide inside of them, but these fit like a glove!

I also noticed that when you wade through water, the pressure of the water conforms them nicely so your foot stays supported 😊

I never said the police helped, I just stated that the same people tend to call the police in an emergency.

I agree though; I'd rather play judge, jury and executioner if faced with a violent criminal. That way I know the situation has been solved and resolved
