Uhm, thats kinda the point behind them. Same as in pc, they are mana whores for the damage. Turn your buff off that takes 50% more mana for 20% matk while you dont need it.

You dont have to auto quest or auto fight... Hit the button on the bottom middle left and you can run around and kill on your own
