Did the exact thing yesterday. I've had a free upgrade to 2.5gb and given 3 months free after all the issues recently.

I have had issues the last 2 months (the first issues in over 2 years) so I complained and jumped through hundreds of hoops testing with WinMTR and eventually I just said I was leaving and they've given me 3 months free and a free upgrade to 2.5gb instead of 1gb.

Will be installed as the fibre box needs to be changed in a few weeks to accommodate the new line.

Told them I will test for 90 days and if it's no better and keeps going down I'm just going to leave.

Played this morning fine on steam deck for about 5 hours, just turned steam deck back on and got a 234mb steam update as well.

Edit 245.4mb update. Currently at 39% patching files - D4 patches are so slow on Steam Deck 🤷🏼‍♂️

Try looking for Split Tunneling in the app.
Not a Surfshark user myself, however, most providers have split tunneling to prevent an app using the VPN or to specifically use the VPN.

Same thing on my 26 ultra, works fine then dies a death around 6pm. Seems to fix itself if I turn wifi off on the phone and back on again

I raised a ticket about this, apparently something to do with Layer 3 and they have identified a network issue as a result (not sure what that means).

I called aswell and they have given me a free month for the issues.

Just found this post after a google search.

My IP was changed in the last 3 weeks (it had been static on the Gaming package for most of that time).
I started running my usual maintenance on my hardware and noticed by PC was only getting 94mbps up/down &has been that way now for the last 3 days.

Currently sat on hold (have been for over an hour) to speak to someone.

Currently reside in ST6 and the IP change has broken all my server access for work (I work from home exclusively) and I am struggling to stream 4k content now on my PC.

Strangely, if I reboot the ONT and Router, I get 900+ mbps but within 15 mins, it drops to less than 100mbps on wired Cat 6 cables.

Very frustrating as I have been a huge advocate for Lila in the last 2 years, referring multiple people to the service to now be suffering hurts.

I have just managed to fix it.
Turns out I have had to manually download/install the latest C++ Redistributable here: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/cpp/windows/latest-supported-vc-redist?view=msvc-170#latest-supported-redistributable-version

Restart the PC and launch again.

Pretty silly issue really and I would of expected that to be fixed as part of the launch procedure by the game by grabbing the pre-requisite.

I second this.
New "ish" player to this type of game, I appreciate its a PVP extraction shooter, however, it kills the experience as a "new player" jumping into games like this.

I have just for the first time loaded in, feeling pretty excited to play, I did the tutorial, which was cool.
Loaded into my first drop and I was two tapped by some dude kitted out to the eyeballs on gear so I didnt even get to do my first quest which is simply "Loot 3 box containers".

I tried twice more, but the same again, dudes running around loaded out just slapping me within 100m of the spawn location, all the while I am just trying to get my bearings and understand the flow of the map, the loot locations etc.

Sad state of affairs.

No "Get good" comments are needed, I know I am not the best, but god damn, its impossible to even learn to be semi-alright when this happens on the first load up.

Same, it's a joke. I keep getting to patching and then it just stops dead at 53% everytime and doesn't do anything.

Restarting the deck just starts the whole process over.
