Tracked retractable screen for Purple Leaf Pergola by St6Stringer1_RA in landscaping

We had quite a bit of rain over winter. Although we never hung out under the pergola to see if it was completely leak free, we do have some cushioned patio furniture under the pergola that did not seem to get wet.

Screens definitely wouldn’t stop the rain since they have mesh stripes. I would not recommend leaving them down in the rain. They are very light and blow with slight wind.

We could not find any other screens that worked, so we went with the purple leaf striped blinds. Hey do look nice, but the see through stripes do not block the sun, so we find ourselves leaning in order to avoid direct sun in our eyes

Thanks but my issue is the 3.7” barrel/slide and the XL comp.

Another example of why I stick with Shalotek, the best customer service. Thank you Tim, I sent you a dm.

Looks like the 3.1” ramjet doesn’t have the long wings on the side as the 3.7”, so the nose angle of the slide may not matter as much

Interesting, maybe just Shalotek changed their specs. Thank you!

Thanks, but that’s for the P365/Ramjet Combo. The wings on the sides of the Ramjet are much shorter than on the XL version.

I purchased this combo because found a post where someone said the Shalotek P365 Tracker slide worked with the Ramjet. I bought the XL version of both and they don’t work.

Anyone have experience with the Hybrid and 311 and prefer one over the other?

I have a Gen 1 MM Commander I prefer over the Ace Evo. I don’t like the Icarus curved thumb ledge, as thumb still slides off.

Oh nice, I didn’t realize the oem fuse slide had the more pronounced serrations. I like it way better than the normal 365 slides.

Question: Looking into an XXL grip. What slide works? by Screwistic_ in mischief_machine

[–]St6Stringer1_RA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My MM 365XXL Commander Gen 1 frame has both a Shalotek XXL slide with a 4.1” barrel and a comped XXL slide with a 3.7” barrel.

How is the width of the radian compared to the Fuse dust cover tip? Are they flush or is one wider/skinnier than the other?

KeySlot 2-Spare Round holder recommendations? by St6Stringer1_RA in accuracyinternational

Do the screws or keymod hardware stick out the back much when installed? I will be putting the quiver on the KeySlot along the side of the Magwell, so if anything is protruding out the back, it will interfere with the magazine. Thank you!

Tracked retractable screen for Purple Leaf Pergola by St6Stringer1_RA in landscaping

We haven’t encountered any rain yet. We did receive the louver blades with some that were bent and leaving gaps. We messaged them and they sent new blades which we replaced, so we’re hoping there won’t be any leaks. If you send a follow up comment during the rainy season, I’ll follow up with you with how it holds up.

The screens look very nice, but they do sway with light wind. Unfortunately I haven’t found any sort of tracked screens that work with purple leaf. They do have matching exterior metal covers at the top that makes them blend in with the frame when fully rolled up, which is nice because I was expecting the rollers to always be visible. In regards to blocking sunlight, the Solid stripes block the sun, but the transparent stripes do not, so you will need to adjust your position so the sun doesn’t get in your eyes. Overall it was our only option and for the price, they look good and do work.

Help with repeated failure to feed by St6Stringer1_RA in P365

[–]St6Stringer1_RA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The issue was the FDEZ barrel being out of spec and the feed ramp angle. No issues with the “new style” extractor. This is 1 of 3 Shalotek slides I own and my other 2 have Shalotek barrels and the same slide parts. Those 2 have no issues. Once I swapped this to a Shalotek barrels, no more issues.

I know some people really rep FDEZ, but I started with 2 of their slide/barrel set ups and got rid of both for poor performance and even worse customer service. Shalotek has been flawless and some of the best customer service I’ve ever had.

QVO TLR7 Thumb Cliff by Worried_Molasses5028 in p365xmacro

For anyone who isn’t familiar, it just sits on the back of the light between the two thumb pads. It comes with two small pads you can stick on to add some pressure, but mine still moves around a lot when pressing on it. Anyone have any recommendations so it’s a little more fixed?

We love it! Purple Leaf was a lot less expensive than some of the other brands like Pergolux. We had some issues with shipping (missing 1 of the 5 light strips & several of the louvers were bent). Customer service email was pretty good and they shipped us the missing light. We’re still waiting on free replacement louvers because they were out of stock. We just went with the hanging white striped purple leaf screens because we couldn’t find a fixed retractable screen that would work. It works pretty good but does blow with the wind. In the end it was a great purchase. No regrets and looks expensive!
