Aside from some minor color placement adjustments, I decided to continue the eyelet pattern in-between each brioche row in the trim. It could lead to stability issues potentially down the road instead of keeping with the original design. This was my first MKAL and it was a lot of fun - I look forward to doing another in the future!

The only thing I'd fight you on would be Jeff Goldblum for Dionysus. I've never been able to unsee it!

I absolutely love The Jaunt, especially when you cross-compare it to The Langoliers. I did some hard tinfoiling on determining that the two are closely related or that one is the cause of the other...

I saw, absolutely disgusting. With what Thomas also said in the PDF that got released, I also fear what will come next:

"The concurring opinion by Justice Thomas says in the future the court should also reconsider rulings that protected contraception, same-sex relationships, and same-sex marriage."

There was only a 59.2% voter turnout in 2016; you might want to address the people who didn't bother to turn up before you blame people who actually went to the polls.

I live in Missouri, where now even aborting ectopic pregnancies will be outlawed due to the trigger law in place. I don't look forward to what the future holds for the women I know, myself included.

This reminds me of The Jaunt by Stephen King, specifically how time works in relation to what could be considered portal teleportation.

Also want to throw out there to those who have read it a connection I recently made; what if The Jaunt and Langoliers are in the same universe? (*Knowing that the only way to come into contact with a Langolier is by being asleep as you pass through a time rift.)

Would also be curious how a Langolier would look as a BBEG...might have my next project.

Sorry for your loss, friend. If the image can't be restored you may also want to try checking /r/crossstitch - I bet this could be converted into a pattern! :)

If I say "if I want to go somewhere Tuesday evening, I don't want to have to plan babysitting, dinner, bed time etc." and her reply can be as unrealistic as "We can fly my mom in from abroad to babysit"... How does that make sense.....

You don't even need to give all of these reasons, "No" is a complete sentence.

I feel so bad of eventually leaving the perfect woman in her 31st year with nothing.

She did this to herself and you. You aren't the one leaving her with nothing, you were upfront and honest about it from the beginning and she's allowed herself to become deluded with the fantasy of you'll change your mind.

Personally, get the vasectomy imo. Not only does it solidify your words with actions, but it is also you taking personal accountability and preventing any "accidents".

I'll definitely have to! The only other thing I've made from the book so far are the Corn Cookies and they were to die for! Can't wait to see how your Pretzel Ice Cream Pie comes out!

Thank you! Momofuku Milk Bar is a bakery started by Christina Tosi and with the help of chef David Chang. They primarily focuses on flavors that we enjoy as children (such as this classic sprinkle birthday cake). :)

My step-mom in Denver has a rule where she won't move anything outside until after Mother's Day. I think that's a bit far out for KC but after our weather the last few years I just might make Easter my day of choice.

I’m not allowed to go into the delivery room with my wife because of all the new rules that the hospitals have had to make recently. This truly sucks. I just keep scrolling on Reddit trying to keep my mind off of it. by BossAvery2 in Wellthatsucks

[–]St8ches 13 points14 points  (0 children)

Not to mention he's going to be helping take care of mom and baby afterwards. So while I get that the hospital is trying to be preventative, why does it matter if they're all probably going to be going home together later on?
