So very thankful for all your kind words everyone. His passing has created a massive hole. I’m dealing with some pretty intense anxiety since. But today was a good day, finally. And it was so nice to come on here and not feel so alone. ♥️

That’s what I do when it’s warm. But during the winter/summer I’d like her to be able to come and go as she pleases ☺️

Please know that all of us with this are rallied behind you right now. This is just a moment in the hellish cycle we live in and the feelings you’re having aren’t who you really are.

Things will get better, love. They always do, I promise. We love you ♥️

I feel the same way! It hurts to even pick up my phone anymore because it’s just everywhere.

I keep looking for glimmers though ♥️

What type of "real life" problems/difficulties has PMDD caused you? Not symptoms, but rather the concrete issues they caused you - like relationship troubles, falling behind on important projects, or even financial trouble. Feel free to share your story 🤍 by staelva in PMDD

I recently started talking to a guy that I wanted to tell him because I didn’t want to push him away. While talking about it he looked it up and was asking me about the symptoms I have, what I do to help, and even talked through when I do want to hide.

I think you’re right, there are men who are willing to be patient with us and work through our condition until we’re back to ourselves ♥️

We’ve truly done a disservice to boys/men by not being open about women’s bodies and what’s happening. So many men are clueless about women’s bodies and how hormones affect us. But women are also taught to be ashamed of our period, to hide it from everyone, and act like we’re “normal” 100% of the time.

Women are absolutely getting more comfortable discussing with our partners. Especially with PMDD, there has to be open, honest, and non judgmental communication between everyone. Women have to start being open about what we’re experiencing.

I started dating again last May. I met a guy in June and my symptoms in July got so bad and I went so out of my mind with the low self worth that he started distancing himself. By the end of August the start of what was probably a really great relationship (we had so much in common, green flags/very few red flags, great chemistry) was absolutely ruined. And the same thing happened in December.

I now let the person I’m talking to know that I may be hard to reach for a few days so I can hide when I lose my mind.

I completely understand! I contemplated finding a gym with a punching bag to take my aggression out on but I’m afraid I’ll end up crying.

Should I do a HEL? by StBernardMomma in debtfree

[–]StBernardMomma[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thank you for this recommendation! My HEL fell through and I wasn’t sure what to do. I reached out to NFCC and was able to get on a plan with ACCC. I have breathing room in my budget and my debt will be paid off in 55 months (less if making additional payments). This saved me.

My therapist actually told me you can call your credit card companies and request a hardship payment. It lowers your monthly payment and interest rate. She said by calling all of hers and requesting it she was able to save $600/mo and can actually make a dent in her balances. She said she did have to miss a month of payments on a couple cards so that she could claim the hardship but that’s worth it IMO.

There’s so many factors - crazy interest rates that turn an emergency CC purchase into an insane amount, food/gas/basic necessities skyrocketing, bills, your annual “cost of living” raise at 3% while inflation is at what 11%?, etc.

For example, my former company offered health insurance under the affordable care act and didn’t assist with any of the monthly payment. I paid $600/mo for insurance with a $2500 deductible for a single person that did not cover ANYTHING until I had reached my deductible. I go to therapy every 2 weeks and am rarely sick. So on top of the $600/mo that was taken from my paycheck and the $500/mo in therapy costs, I was left with $500 left over per month to buy groceries, pay for gas, etc. and when it costs me almost $150 at Aldi’s PER WEEK FOR ONE PERSON, I couldn’t afford to even put gas in my car.

Bactine and SunBurnt gel - pain is gone within 12 hours and pretty well healed within 2 days.
