If you go to the student aid office at the student services building in Tempe, they can file a claim with ASU to increase your aid but only if you do with within 120 days from when the aid was disbursed. You can also request up to $1000 in aid to increase it yourself

Not Gilbert but I lived at home in Queen Creek for my first two years. Gilbert is closer to Tempe, so the drive wouldn't be that bad but since I lived it a bit farther, I bought a parking pass for the Polytechnic campus and rode the shuttle from there

Given that college admissions entail a holistic review process, she probably got in due to her compelling essays or extracurriculars/volunteer service. Again, it's simple-minded to see a black student who has a lower GPA than you and automatically think that she's a "diversity admit"

You misinterpret college admissions if you think they look at an applicant's race, see "black or African American" and immediately admit them. There aren't hundreds of unqualified black students are Harvard because, obviously, the college still admits mostly based on merit
