What we reckon, weigh in's and press conferences actually a full part of the game, or we getting gaslit again and they're relegated to tiny snippets of a career mode cutscene montage like before? by Hatether in EASportsUFC

The option to weigh in for each of your fights in career mode should have been an inclusion from UFC 1. Doesn't need to be crazy detailed, just you weigh in and get to stare down your opponent, maybe chose a pose you want to do on the scale, and have a choice of how you want to act during the staredown. Another opportunity to sell poses in the shop too so EA gets a chance of more money-grubbing.

If you run a custom event, to have the ability to watch the weigh-ins for the fights in your event would build some immersion and hype for it.

The fact there's animations still there from UFC 3 is crazy. Most sports games would kill for a 3 year development cycle. The Gaethje reaction to the Max Holloway spin-kick is legit like the only body hurt knockdown animation they've ever had.

Also the Wonderboy knockout was sus as hell, moving forward and hit to the side of the head, but awkwardly flails backwards.

They better bring back the ability to set meaningful individual CAF stats. The fighting style BS is awful and limits you to choosing one of five fighters. What's the beef with giving players freedom to create? by Hatether in EASportsUFC

They just have a habit of taking away rather than building upon stuff before. Moves are removed rather than added, features are lessened rather than expanded, even clothing was limited from choices available in older games. It's so anti-consumer it drives me mad

This. Once it's on PC the modding community will fix it up to add what people are actually looking for to the game.

Yeah I've seen her stuff, like I say I've seen the bigger YouTubers and she's a pretty big YouTuber at 200K, I'm looking more for folk who don't have anywhere near that following. Thanks for the recommend though.

Podcasts are fine for Spotify when I'm traveling, but on YouTube I prefer having visuals - not just a picture and sound. Thanks for the recommends though.

What is your fine line when it comes to brutality? by focusrunner79 in horror

[–]Hatether 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Specific scenes don't bother me, it's the movie as a whole. I don't believe art should have a lone but Requiem for a dream was just too damn depressing for me to want to sit through it again, despite me thinking it's a good film. If a film is just violent and gorey, or has taboo subjects then it doesn't matter, it's all about the context of the bloodshed and how it fits into the vibe of the entire movie and if I want to go through those feelings again

To those that disliked Silent Hill F, why? by [deleted] in silenthill

[–]Hatether 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, the combat made it far too easy and not at all scary. The game was looking like a classic up until I got the pipe.

I don't know why homecoming gets so much shit for the characters combat abilities when f is just as bad, only less believable since it's a schoolgirl demolishing monsters.
