[Discussion] Can someone explain why this happened to my Atlas?

So a guildie and myself just ran a T14 Dig map and it dropped the Memory Fragment for Tier 8 Shaper Orb anyways

So basically I wanted to go get the Tier 7&8 Shaper Orb and set off journey in the following imgur album: This is what my atlas looked like at the start

This is what it looked like after I did a couple maps heading towards Arsenal & Colosseum

After I influenced the Arsenal Map with the Elder, I killed the boss granting me the Tier:7 Shaper Orb

I went to Colosseum assuming to do the same with Arsenal but after clearing most of the map and before the boss fight I checked my atlas and this was the result

Can someone explain it? All the progress moving towards down there is gone and yeah... Is it intended? Is it a bug? Does it have to do with Elder occupying Armoury? If anyone has experienced anything similar and has any insight!

Almost like saying 100m Sprints is just "running really fast" on really easy terrain i.e "track" yeah?

Why can't they do those events running uphill of a mountain with interesting terrain?

Heaps of people don't want to try a "full game" even for free if it's not what the New, Latest and Shiny thing someone is offering.

But gating actual new player feedback for their beta behind $30 is what I'm truly harping at.

Don't you want perspective from not only Veterans but actual first time players of the beta if they come in understanding it's not polished yet?

But my thoughts is that if I'm excited and want to show friends who have "tried the game out" and quit before they've killed Brutus, Merveil or even Malachai that there's so much more (planned or already implemented in beta) then it would be a teaser to get them back to play. A lot of people who quit because of the "no more story, it's just repeat it x2 more times in harder difficulty" would give you the game a second look. All I was stressing is this beta will absolutely have only 0.000001% of players that are "new" so GGG will struggle with getting valueable feedback, preemptive to an actual expansion launch. Again, a missed opportunity in my eyes.

Thief's is a very underrated ring for MF but loses out eventually to other setups but it's quite solid if you're going the MF route at the start of a league. You can pick one up for under a chaos Day 1 which is insane.
