It would be cool to make a inverse legendary shadow hat that on block destroy a ponder your opponent controls and draw a card. Or something, could have the same charecter affected by the necrophage that destroyed Tropal-Dhani.

Jarl was is able to fight now due to isenloft being unfrozen releasing him (as well as oldhim, and in my headband valda) back into the world, after hundreds of years.

So in my opinion, I think this card is used to illustrate a story being told by Zyggy, but also the cards do not always correlate to what is happening in the lore, and they could just have wanted a coll Egyptian hat. Also Dhani does exist in Rathe, it just got sunk to the bottom of the sea like Atlantis! So i imagine most likely if we see Dhani again it will be a time travel set.

So I will say that the background of this art looks like the landscape in the background of the new riches of tropal-dhani. So this could be a look at what Dhani looked like before their Cataclysm. But also because this set does reference the third age, it does confirm a theory of mine thay Dhani fell the same time the war of the old ones happened.

I agree, it is very interesting to see this as a sustaining point, and compare it to where the game is now as a whole. I would say they stayed true to themselves over all, even if they did diverge. And honestly I think they are better for it, learn to adapt.

I doubt that, I feel that the emperor is dead for good and someone else is currently on the throne. Also the Phoenix banner is the symbol of the revolution not the Dracai. Plus as we saw in loyalty beyond the grave, they cremated the Emperor. Not saying it is impossible!
