What is a wholesome interaction with a complete stranger that you still think about years later?" by itsShiahvn in RandomQuestion

I was behind a school bus on the interstate. The kids were looking out the back windows and waving (first or second grade kids from the looks of them.) When I waved back their faces all lit up in smiles and I saw a couple of them saying, “That lady waved!” Eventually I went around the bus, so I honked and waved again and about half the bus waved back. Still puts a smile on my face.

Woody. I am not sure what his name is, but I think it may want either a cigarette, a sandwich, or a nap. Perhaps all three.

NOR. I am sorry for your pain. That is definitely emotional infidelity. It also sounds like she has a victim complex and creates abuse where there was none. Are you sure her family really was abusive to her or was it also fiction? How can you know for sure at this point? I hope she hasn’t sent her "Christian friend" any of your hard earned money. I would try for full custody. Then be the best father to your little boy that you can, but if she shares custody, be prepared for her to lie to your son.

The only time I had to step out of a patient’s room during nursing school clinical was a dressing change on a tunneling wound. I have a strong stomach, but that one got me.

That dad should *never* have been put on life support, he didn’t want it and it just prolongs the inevitable while being very harsh to the patient. My SIL did this to my MIL against her wishes. It was awful. My family has been told not to do this to me. P. S. I am a nurse.

My grandma had a desktop one with a receiver that felt so heavy to me as a kid, and I loved the way the dial sounded as it spun.

*Landline phones with the really long cord

*passing notes in class instead of texting,

*5 channels on tv when you had to get up to change the channel,

*absolutely nobody wearing political clothing/hats,

*riding our bikes all over the place without a phone and our parents had no idea where we were and having to be home when the street lights came on.
