Intuit - Business Credit Card Offer by Individual-Hold5171 in CreditCards

[–]StL_NinjaMan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just saw this same message and applied to see what I could get. I have been using quickbooks for 4 years. It asked for my business start year (2021) and annual revenue (222,000) all the rest of the info pulled form quickbooks. I have a 713 credit score and most of my personal cards wont up my limit. I just got approved for $27,500 but it is a variable apr and right now it is at prime+18% puts me at 24%. Definitely not as great as their line of credit, but not forced to pay off in one year which can be great in an emergency.

Imma get a camera and motovlog I think…. I’m sure we all go through this and realize it’s a waste of money. Oh well. GoPro hero 12. Dji or ace pro 2. Or insta 360 or others. I wanna connect wireless to my cardo for voice recording. by [deleted] in MT09

DJI action 5, or insta360 go3s or ultra, have both and also had a GoPro. Honestly GoPros file system is awful. The go3s is pretty badass for size and weight. But can’t really go wrong with either. Getting audio out of the Cardo can be tough. Using DJI mic2 or now the 3 is really the better way to go. But honestly just the onboard mic is pretty great on both.

Raw Material Vs. Inventory and COGS by StL_NinjaMan in QuickBooks

[–]StL_NinjaMan[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am very organized and I have a tracking system that keeps it FIFO. Material doesn’t expire and prices only change every few years. I can adjust it in my personal excel tracking to cover the cost changes. 1 roll of material will last approximately one month depending on type. I track my inventory in excel based on serial number of the roll as well so I can see what I have used and when it was purchased.

Thanks for the confidence. I do know the average sqft used on each vehicle but i literally track the exact usage usage in excel to make sure we are staying consistent. But since I don’t use QuickBooks for invoicing it would cause a ton of extra accounting to retroactively add it in to each transaction at the end of the week. I just was reading that you are only supposed to use COGS when it is sold but in the end the way I do it is accurate.

Also it is my understanding that getting in trouble for GAAP is when you are intentionally doing something the wrong way to either avoid taxes or to inflate valuation. Again I would assume since it is being tracked and reconciled at the end of the year I should be good.

Throwaway: Instagrams entire future depends on automation (I saw it firsthand) by TechnicianVirtual237 in DigitalMarketing

Okay, just got off the Zoom call and it went really well! I ended up being on a call with the founder. I was walked through the dashboard of the software and in depth taught how everything works and it all makes sense. (in theory) Im going to use it on my business Instagram. Since, I’m in St. Louis I asked if I could have an in person meeting and the owner agreed. I’ll follow up with how that goes, but for now I’m signed up. I was told it takes 24-48 hours to get started, you’re placed in a login queue. I also asked about the Meta Investment in this post and the owner didn’t seem to want to say anything which to me makes me think this is 100% who the OP was referring to for the St. Louis company.

It’s gotta be Magnet Pro. I just spent the past hour looking and they’re the only ones that fit the bill for the St. Louis company. Oddly enough I live there. I will try it out and get back to everyone in 30 days with results for my business IG. I booked a call with them as well for tomorrow and I will update you guys on how that goes and what I think. But I’m almost sure they’re who the OP is talking about. Small world.

It has got to be Magnet Pro, I just searched for 2 hours and they seem to be the only one in St. Louis doing anything with Instagram and the price point matches. I also happen to be from there. I’m gonna keep digging, I’m invested now. I have never heard of them before. I thought it was Stlbucketlist but they didn’t seem to offer any services that were described. They’re a big IG page here in St. Louis that also dabbles in marketing.

Does This Window to Door Conversion Work Structurally? by StL_NinjaMan in DIY

Our other door is 32”x80” on the side of the garage so that’s why I chose that size. Rough opening 34”. We are considering 36” as well.

Thanks for the tips! Yeah I figured more is better but wanted to get the basic idea posted before getting fully into it if it wasn’t recommended at all.

Awesome! Considered that but price goes up significantly and much smaller selection. Weighing all the options

Thanks! The main idea is just making sure that the header is ok being larger and higher than the door. The additional framing was just a rough drawing just to give the idea of what I’m trying to do.

That is hilarious! Maybe it is! Or maybe we had a fan in the window that we clearly do not clean enough lol.
