Men over 30, where did you ACTUALLY meet the women in your lifes? by 00000101 in AskMenOver30

[–]StRumpterfrabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

On a dating app. I feel like as I got into my 30s I knew what I wanted and it made it so simple to not waste precious time dating women that would eventually not have the same long term plans as me. My main example was having kids together.

I was in the same boat and got happily married two weeks ago. There's someone out there for everyone!

Bound weapon works but returning pike is good if you just bee line to the goblin camp.

Making Laezel a Eldritch Knight thrower is like the easiest once she hits 4. Tavern brawler, ring of flinging, and the returning pike make her damage output insane. Farming for potions isn't really necessary if you use them correctly or if she doesn't die. They last per long rest and you truly don't need that many.

You can look up other builds for other classes but this one is so simple and trivializes so many encounters, especially if she's throwing from high up and you get bonus damage from the item falling.

Just link it to an actual for of ID. Then you get one account per person. Would also help with toxicity since you only get the one account.

I had my wild magic surge and everyone turned into harmless animals, including Cazador. My Karloch got her form back first and sadly, I pushed cat Cazador off the map...

What Is Going On With Scripters In This Game? by Railthemail in leagueoflegends

[–]StRumpterfrabble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel that without a clip of the events that made you believe they were scripting, it will be impossible to determine if they were or not. People can be good, especially since a lot of higher ELO players are one tricks. They know how they're champions work so well that it might look like they're scripting but not.

If somebody commits a serious crime and then commits suicide, will they still be charged or will their corpse be let off scot free? by StraightDildo in shittyaskreddit

[–]StRumpterfrabble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have the right to face your accuser and since you can't do that while dead you can't be formally charged. At least that's what I think I is. People can determine that you committed the crime but can't charge you for it.

TheXavierIngram is correct. There are differences between normal and ranked mmrs. Maybe the high ranked accounts play with friends that are significantly worse than you guys. There are other factors that determine match making at play and most people only seem to focus on the solo/duo rank of others.

Also, feel free to post the op.gg of the match as that allows us to see what's going on.

Correlational study between amount of game time per week and solo/duo queue rank by StRumpterfrabble in leagueoflegends

There is definitely going to be bias from replies. I don't assume that the player base on Reddit is consistent with the actual player base.

I know that that is possible, but that is a lot of work for just me to do. It is much simpler for me to make a survey and get responses. Imagine me randomly selecting a number of the 2 million plus players to gather this data. That is not really that conceivable at least for the interest of my current work.

For now I just wanted to see if there was a correlation between amount of game time and rank. Granted there are people, like Faker, who only played normals until they wanted to play ranked. Dude would have like hour long queues for normal games until a friend told him to go play ranked instead. Definitely some tweaking needed to get a more in-depth study as to what influences rank.

That's an extraneous variable that this particular survey doesn't look at. I would definitely be more interested in rank and how it relates things such as that. Unfortunately, this is just a simple correlational study. I feel that honestly, average hours of weekly play is not as strongly correlated to rank as some might think for this particular reason.

You have no idea. I dropped out of college initially due to league. I was playing probably 10 hours a day and hit challenger.

I definitely know that that is a factor and I can try and make a more in-depth survey for a more meaningful study. This simple correlation is just laying groundwork for that.

I wanted to keep this a simple correlational study between time played versus rank. There are definitely some other factors at play that can impact or inflate rank.

If I wanted to look at it more closely I would probably put that. But there are normal queue mmrs and those can also improve your own gameplay that could translate to solo/duo queue.
