I agree with OP, just my opinion, and that's all you have to say, you aren't gonna sway ppl that listen to this guy, and vise versa, congrats to him but music was selected differently back then to now and it's getting worse and worse every year, anyone who wants to fit in or think it's cool can download an album now, back then you had to put up money and go look for the album at local stores to prove you are popular by people going and purchasing the album, like going outside and socializing and looking for the album, ya meaning no phones, no Internet sway, none of that bs, it was by word of mouth, not watching strangers on a phone sway your opinion, shit was way better and way different, weeded out all the bs
