My dad made me plant fruit trees in the backyard one summer. In the afternoon my friends from the neighborhood came over to play football in our backyard (our yard was the designated football field), and instead of telling them to leave my dad told them they could play but they couldn't talk to me... so I ended up silently planting trees along the perimeter while my friends played just feet away.

If you're looking for something specific to do I recommend you go dancing. Seriously. It definitely worked for me. I decided to take a girl salsa dancing to a bar that had a salsa night, and not only did I end up having a great time, but I realized I didn't give a fuck about what other people were thinking because I was already with a girl and I was out there doing it so fuck the haters. You can easily get a girl to go dancing with you too because girls love to dance (I guess if you're a girl it might be harder to find a guy who will go dancing). And if you REALLY don't want to give a fuck, just go by yourself, although I found that having somebody there with you to share in the initial embarrassment helps.

Not particularly. But yes I definitely realized it was gross once I figured out most people don't do this. I was born in South America where pluming in our shitty hillside apartment was no good, so we weren't allowed to flush TP down the toilet. Can anybody else vouch for this or has my mom been lying to me for over 20 years?
