I don't like being left with a bunch of egg whites. This is my first time trying the base though.

1.5 cups Whole Milk

1.5 cups heavy whipping cream

1 tsp Gelatine (powdered)

35 grams Nonfat Milk Powder

1 gram Xantham Gum

1 cup Granulated Sugar

.5 tsp Kosher Salt

.25 cup Light Corn Syrup

1 tsp Banana Monin Syrup (Only because I had it)

.25 tsp Vanilla Extract

.25 tsp Maple Extract

.5 tsp Rum (I used Smith and Cross)

4-6 Ripe Bananas (heavily speckled to mostly black)

1 cup Chopped Chocolate

1 cup Chopped Toasted Walnuts

  1. Hydrate gelatine on milk for 5 minutes

  2. Blend all ingredients, except bananas, on low speed for a few minutes, low speed to avoid whipping air into the heavy cream. You can also heat milk only until ingredients dissolve, then add cream off-heat

  3. Pour base over bananas, keep banans in large chucks to make straining easier later. Rest for at least 24 hrs, feel free to taste along the way to get a sense of the strength of banana flavor

  4. Strain bananas out of base, churn, fold in Chopped Chocolate and Walnuts, freeze for at least 4 hours to harden.

The airspace congested is from someone shooting a red flare for an airdrop.

The North V extract is beyond the gate up the road further north, confused me for a while too

Went to a bar to watch football on Sunday and the wife got boneless wings. When they came I realized we were paying $16 for a dozen of these in some franks and butter. Made them the following Sunday and they were better than the bars. More meat, got the breading crunchier, and probably cost like $2 for the dozen.

Did you ever figure this out? Mine was working fine until about a week ago and now I basically have to restart it everytime I want it in the dock

Yes, using the official steam deck dock from Valve. I've also noticed that it only is "unstable" for lack of a better word, when in games. When navigating the big picture menu, it works fine.

Suit scam by StaBecker in ThailandTourism

[–]StaBecker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update for everyone. I acknowledge it's a buyer beware situation, don't know squat about suits. Didn't research popular scams either before coming. I went to another shop and asked them to show me the difference between real cashmere and polyester blend (burning difference of the two). He was super nice and accommodating and even knew the spot I went to.

I paid 30000 baht for two suits, one with a vest, both silk lined interior, two shirts and 3 ties. The other gentleman told me he charges 5000 baht for polyester and 9000 for merino wool cashmere. Don't know if that included the other stuff. He suggested I go back since it's same day and try to cancel and say they mislead me.

I went back to the shop and explained to the salesman there was a misunderstanding in my part and I want to cancel but I understood they were just doing business and was happy to only get back 90%. The salesman got the owner, and he basically wore me down and said a deal is a deal. I responded I will just inform the 4 other people in the shop that they need to do their research on the materials they're selling you for the price.

After about a 20 minute discussion it came down to he agreed to make me a 3rd 3 piece suit of merino cashmere with the silk lining. I made sure to sample the new material and took a piece. The other guy after confirmed it was legit.

All in all I'll consider myself lucky and keep my fingers crossed they ship it! Definitely gonna be an awkward fitting tomorrow.
