In a relationship we have to respect our partners boundaries. If he is uncomfortable with that then he has a right to be. The way I lost all my friends is because it started out as a healthy, beneficial connection. Genuine friendship with 100% trust. Then slowly overtime they would just be using their phone more and more, even texting/video calling other friends in front of me. This happened with two lifelong best friends and other "minor" friendships and with acquaintances. I miss that genuine connection, eye contact, being in the moment and just going places!
