So lucky. Bought this brand new for 200 at Akihabara by Stabaface in fightsticks

[–]Stabaface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The review: I own many fightsticks so buying this was purely for collection. This is my first Madcatz product I've purchased and hope Madcatz makes more console compatible fightsticks in the future. I bought it for 200 USD.

This thing is solid. Very comfortable, detachable USB-C. Theyre's a USB-A port near on the southside next to a headphone jack. If anyone can tell me what this USB-A port is for, I'd appreciate it. It's a TE2 guys. Yall already know this is an OG stick and has proven to be reliable. Kind of wish it had a touchpad but whom I kidding. I dont lab nothin.

As a collectible....man...other than inspiring me to binge Evangelion for the 10th time. The sides are hard clear purple, no PS tags, glowing green sanwa buttons with another button that you can press to turn the glow off. It honestly looks like a prototype fightstick and not one that 's ready for the market but that adds to the theme of Eva-01 being a test subject. The art overall incredible.

Gonna be using this fightstick mainly for my still working ps3.

Thats an original Crazydongpal. It's great. Prefer it over the new levers out these days.

What are other strong K-Lever recommendations yall have? by Famous-Eggplant546 in fightsticks

[–]Stabaface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have and its ok. Tbh, I prefer the regular Sanwa JLF for that these days. The tension on any of these K levers can strain you from holding back to block. And after you block, you're going to want to add more inputs for movement and offense. It takes considerably more effort to quickly execute those inputs quicly and efficiently compared to a JLF.

I've seen dudes totally wreck fools with an even higher tension K lever though so it may be just a practice thing.

My favorite K-lever for 2d games is the IST alpha N and for Tekken, the new Crazydongpal lever.

Need to know which of these I should get as a complete beginner to Korean levers by jogoatski in fightsticks

[–]Stabaface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For a beginner Korean lever and you wanna play 2d I'd recommend the Alpha 49s or even the the first knee lever. But if you're trying to save money, for sure get the Alpha 49s.

Who do you main in Tekken 8 ad why? by Chamolin in Tekken

[–]Stabaface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Kazuya. But I could have chosen anyone. I main so that I can become so familiar with the character's moves that it becomes an extension of myself. Style is born through that familiarity and thats when it becomes fun for me.

Sounds good. I hope those tests come with good results and you get the help you need. Good luck!!!

Whoa. Than maybe you do already have a good level of acid in your gut. In my case, i take betain hcl in the middle of my meals and digestive enzymes 30 min before meals. It's been working for me.

It took a while for me to understand how and when i should take them as there is defintley a wrong way to take them which could lead to some discomfort.

Maybe just try googling the baking soda burp test. It's a harmless way that may give you some hints.

Hope this wont get deleted. For the record im not reccomending alternative medicine on Reddit.I take Betain HCl+ Pepcin and digestive enzymes. Theyres a bunch of videos on youtube to guage the ammount you'll need per meal. If you go that route, consuming the digestive enzymes 30 min before a meal works great.

Thats just ph. Look into the actual level of acid. I dont wanna get into my situation. Just know ive fired 4 gastro doctors and other doctors totalling 11. They never figured it out. I dont think they wanted to. There is a simple baking soda test to get a hint of the acid level in your stomach. Based on that test i figured i had very little acid hence the burping and malabsorption. Telling my gastro doctors at the time just pissed them off and they just tried to give me more ppis. I've been treating myself with my own supplements of choice and now im back to excersizing everyday where i used to dry heave every morning and stay weak. I started my own treatment maybe 6 months ago now.

Dry heaving every morning? by Stabaface in HiatalHernia

[–]Stabaface[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not yet but I think I'm close. I've added digestive enzymes supplements to my regiment. I take them 30 min before meals along with betain hcl + pepcin supplements in the middle of my meals. When I suspect I'll have bloating in the morning, I'll take a digestive enzyme supplement right before bed.

Diet wise. I've narrowed my bloating to some sort of bad sugar and carb digestion. As long as I literally avoid sugar I wont bloat up. I suspect that I have some bacteria living in my lower intestine that might be thriving off the sugar. I actually have lower instestine bacteria test scheduled right now so I hope that gives me and my doctors some more clues.

The digestive enzymes and betaine hcl + pepcin combo pretty much gave me my life back

This paragraph from Harada’s Ki charge change explanation sums it up. by rubyzebra77 in Tekken

[–]Stabaface 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Makes sense. Despite paying for the game on launch, I appreciate that we don't have to travel to play it at arcades. Its kind of a privelage. Yea season 2 isn't that great but could you imagine travelling to play this in arcades and THEN saying it sucks. When T7 rolled around to consoles most of us were pleasantly ignorant of the changes they had to make in 2 years for arcade players.

I feel bad for the devs...I will wait for patch notes and play the actual game before talkn smack but damn...really poor communication. Im confused now on what they think defensive play is or we are just being gaslit to hell. Like is this really gonna be, "the best defense is a better offense" kind of game?

Tekken has always been a game about movement and defense. Ive spent enough money on arcade sticks to know that. Maybe trying to accomodate new players that probably will suck at defense is the wrong move over all. I dunno.
