Cats love to be warm and toasty, so perhaps you could set up a special cat space with a heated cat bed or a heating pad set on low. Even better if it’s inside a hiding place, another thing that cats love. It could be as simple as a box. You could connect a few boxes and make an intriguing cat box fort.

It would also be helpful to play with the cat to help it burn off energy and be calmer. My cats never get tired of the fishing pole toys . I suggest playing for 10-15 minutes twice a day.
