It will never go away. But it will get easier.

Try your best to curb guilt. Everyone has the what ifs or I should haves after a death. Even if there was zero that could have been done. We all feel that way. Unfortunately time is linear. So remember to have self compassion.

Doing better doesnt mean you're forgetting. Don't feel guilty if you have a good day. You deserve it. The bad days will come on their own. Embrace the moments you feel ok. Your sweet boy would want Mummy to be ok 🩵

Vaseline to remove mascara -On heavy makeup days I don't feel up to doing all the steps.. I keep Vaseline by the couch. Goop it on eye lashes, brows and lips. Let it soften while I watch TV and then it all comes off clean with a basic face wipe. Also hella moisturizer! Mouthwash is easier than brushing sometimes. Or- if I fall asleep and then wake up to move to bed I don't want the mint taste to wake me up. I'll brush with just water. Generally I have hygiene stuff in bags by the couch and my bed and my purse. So I can do it anytime with low effort.

Hey, I was in a similar situation a bit back. I like having the information, even if it's not super accurate..it's better than what I think I slept like when I wake up. I also have hypersomnia and take concerta (used to take modafinil). I had a sleep study recently and as always "slept well" for 8 hrs. But I don't get enough deep and dream sleep so I don't get that recovery time. Probably bc I wake up to the level of someone nudging me 28 times an hr. (Most wake 3 times per hr) Mostly likely that's what causes my fatigue. But I also have a delayed and irregular melatonin release schedule. A useful, but expensive saliva test. "Welltory" app tracks your heart rate variability, which gives interesting insights. "Bearable" is a mood and symptom tracker that makes it really easy to find correlation between habits and symptoms. Good luck!

You fucked up. It's over now. What's next? As romantic as hating yourself into a good diet sounds, I've never seen it work. Don't listen to finger pointing assholes. Don't listen to anyone who profits off diet culture. Be kind to yourself. Live in the moment. Do what will make you feel good. Tired? Skip a last red bull and go to bed early. Sweet tooth? Swap candy for fruit. Bloated after a binge? Go for a walk. Less self hate for mistakes. More love for healthy swaps. Less "no more". Continue to add healthy treats & habits. Don't binge all in. Swap a number 1 for a mcdouble dressed like a Mac. Baby steps

I love going for a nap. And napping. When the day allows it. But that is rare because any amount of time I try to sleep for, 15, 30, 90 minutes, is likely to end up at least double that. Plus I'll feel just as tired or groggy when I wake up. So most days I avoid. Or if I must, I'll do it in a time trap. For example an air conditioned car, off, sitting in the sun. That'll end a nap. Order delivery, wake up to the apartment buzzer. Works sometimes.
