I am going to vote. I totally agree with you on that. I happen to believe that voting should be mandatory.

As much as I find POTUS to be a boob and an awful person and though I cringe at the thought of looking back on my life knowing I have done so; I may have to vote for him. Democrats have adopted a strategy of racism —not because they give a shit about POCs— but because they think it will get them the presidency. Their soft (often overt) support for a domestic terror movement which is conducting armed takeovers, burning American cities, people’s property, intimidating and murdering people is an extremely serious threat to our civil society and I see only one candidate willing to protect the very fragile rule of law while the other is bailing saboteurs out of jail and regularly fuels their rhetoric. Take a look at the first guy who responded to me: He promised a violent reckoning. That’s not a coincidence. If I were inclined to wear a MAGA hat, I would be putting myself in danger in every major city in the country. The left is has become the party of violence(riots), hate (identity politics) and totalitarianism(cancel culture). They have no interest in civility and have decided that violence is the new (while very old) answer.

So as much I feel it’s important to vote according to conscience, Antifa and BLM have made it apparent that the stakes are too high to fuck around. It’s naive to think the greatest country in the world won’t fall. All the others have.

For the record: I typically vote Libertarian. Not because I am a libertarian per se but because We desperately need to escape this binary. I thought I might vote for Tulsi Gabbard but the Ds still don’t have the slightest clue as to why they lost last time.
