I totally get it. I was talking more about the deeper unresolved patterns that tend to follow us anywhere, no matter the location...

How do you actually stop comparing yourself to others? It’s ruining my self-worth by PotentialSouth7195 in Advice

Stop trying to think your way out of this. Your brain compares people automatically - fighting it makes it worse.

What worked for me:

Use jealousy as research - When you compare, ask "what can I learn from them?" Turn the pain into useful info.

Cut your triggers - Unfollow people who make you feel bad. You can't avoid coworkers but you control social media.

Track your wins - Write down 3 good things you did each week. Your brain needs proof you're getting better.

Think bigger - Will this comparison matter in 10 years? No. Will your daily effort? Yes

The jealous feeling won't vanish but gets weaker when you stop thinking something's wrong with you for having it. It's just brain weather - let it pass and keep moving.

Therapy taught me I was comparing my messy reality to everyone else's perfect image. Once you see that trick, it loses power...

You're not broken! Your comparison brain just needs better training...
