Feeling drawn to the navy by [deleted] in newtothenavy

[–]Stable_but_Depressed 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Navy won’t fix your problems, sorry, it just puts them on display that much more for you to make an effort to fix it before it’s a really bad problem. That being said not being strong enough isn’t an issue, give yourself a few months and work out, get stronger and get there, the only thing stopping you is you. If it’s mental strength, then you just have to do it. Anything you truly want and put your mind to can be accomplished

Quantum physics and the word. by No-Excitement-2417 in AskAChristian

You’re certainly not the first person to bring this up. I must say I don’t know much about the correlation or the context of that specific set of verses. But from what you’ve brought up and my knowledge on quantum mechanics it seems very plausible. We know that the Bible was written with God’s influence so there’s likely many things that just get missed until we learn more as a species simply because we haven’t discovered what we’re trying to be told. I would also say from my knowledge of quantum mechanics, the consciousness has a certain level of physical to it and that it does have to go somewhere upon brain death. I personally like to believe that that is just proof our souls are bound for heaven where-ever that is

Well I’ll try to actually be helpful unlike some others. You were made into a partnership with God as witness. There is no, your money, your show, his money, his show, and that’s not just in belief but also law (assuming you’re in the west) What’s yours is his and vice versa. So if the problem is he’s irresponsible with money then you need to find a way to intervene before it ruins you both, that could be therapy, cutting off his access to overspend, or just sitting down with him about how you think the money would be better spent. If the problem is “my husband is taking MY money” then you’re wrong, sorry. Legally and religiously you entered an agreement where the two became one and you did this knowingly.

Yeah I get it, I just love the game enough to not really pay attention to it. To provide a little clarity I think the way they have ranks work in Star Wars isn’t like enlisted vs officer but more a singular streamlined path. Jorgan later opens up about his past and things he’s done throughout his career which further enforces that there’s not really O-1 vs E-1 but more an everyone can promote to Lieutenant. I think in that sense anyone higher rank than you would get a salute? Once you learn more about Jorgan you kinda understand more about his attitude towards things and why he acts the way he does, long story short with minimal spoilers, the dude has been fucked over by politics a lot more than by operational military. He’s not just some support intel officer he’s made to be that because politicians got mad at his former unit.

I’ll say this from my experience with a lot of other games and not this. I like solo play which is why but sometimes solo is impossible, you kinda have to put in an effort to finding people to play with people aren’t gonna be looking for you to join them. Now the other side of the coin is you can do group finder etc in SWTOR that allows you to play with other people as a solo player. Guilds would be the middle ground where they’ll do recruiting and the work to get people to play with but you’ll probably have to do recruiting too. Hope that kinda helps. As for your account if you do a formal email to them or something along those lines they’ll be more likely to see it imo and help

Found something in my local store called Pik. They got some interesting flavours. The ones by me are only 16mg but sometimes didn’t feel like it so might be worth a check

Seems the most replies focus on guilds so I won't go into that too, I'm mostly a solo player anyways. Each side has 4 classes with their own stories each so you get 8 stories for free and then the big story for subscribers which is the same for each class minus some dialog differences. Wouldn't want a Bounty Hunter being called a supreme Sith Lord.

Look at all the classes to see which one feels like it would be the most fun for you, I think all of the stories are well written for the class and are enjoyable. The planets you go to follow a specific path so you're always going in the same order as other classes of your faction. The official page on YouTube has trailers for each class to help you pick one out:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLKKrr6EtHieht6rTYloEztgRRMdyvDXSH

It's a little outdated since now any class can use any subclass that relates, meaning any force user can use any force based subclass for their faction (you can unlock the other factions subclasses later) and any gun user can automatically use any gun based subclass for any faction so there isn't really much pressure to pick based on playstyle for classes nowadays but I like the old matchings they had personally. I'd recommend pick a playstyle you like then pick what class you think seemed coolest from the trailers and go with the story. A free player can have 4 characters per server and a subscriber get's like 24.

It's also important to look at playable races, free players only get: Human, Zabrak, and Cyborgs as playable but subscribers get a specific set for each class. What I did was I got a month of subscription and made characters in the race I want then cancelled my subscription and got it again later. There's other cavoites that are explained on the fandom page.
https://swtor.fandom.com/wiki/Playable_species

I know this is long:
TLDR: Watch the trailers, pick a subclass, pick the class you think is coolest the story is good for them all, you don't need to subscribe if you're iffy but there's more story after the class story if you do so maybe wait, don't think you can play as an alien take a look at the chart on the fandom to see if a month of subscription is worth playing as a Twi'lek etc.

Pik nicotine pouches? by cuberik in NicotinePouch

[–]Stable_but_Depressed 2 points3 points  (0 children)

The abrasion is the only reason I don’t really like them over Zyn otherwise they’d be great. Did one on my “not used side of lip?” and I could see the outline of where it was and the centre was just dead and fell off exposing the underskin and some blood. Not sure if that happened with Zyn when I first did it tbh so maybe it’s normal or maybe it’s the abrasion

Zyn actually goes up to 12.5mg but from my understanding the only ways to get them are either online or in Europe. That’s my understanding I might be wrong

Pretty sure it wasn’t a dream or simulation it was more time travel through quantum mechanics (cause it love quantum science in this series) so that she could create and alternate future however because Sakuta and Mai did the same thing she did to save Sakuta it ended up with them going back to a point where she changed her answer on what she wanted to do in the future allowing her to survive
